Summer Show, 1st August 2009

The show was held on Saturday 1st August at the popular venue of St. Nicholas Church Centre, Bedhampton. In spite of the rainy weather we had a good turnout of approximately 90 visitors, and although down on last year perhaps because of the difficult season, the 201 entries made a good show. The dahlia section was particularly pleasing.  Thanks go to Geoff Tanton, Show Manager, Mrs Maureen Ballard–Neale, Entries Secretary, and the rest of the team for organising this enjoyable event. And thanks to all exhibitors, judges and supporters, without you the show wouldn’t go on at all!
