Pens Millennium Garden

Pensthorpe Millennium Garden with its swathes of herbaceous perennials and ornamental grasses

Kevin is the Wholesale Nursery Director at Hillier Nurseries, a professional grower and plantsman with over 30 years experience in gardening and plants, dedicated to every aspect of ornamental horticulture.

His illustrated talk was about naturalistic planting with perennials, trees and shrubs inspired by the renowned garden design genius Piet Oudolf. Kevin was kind enough to supply a plants list of some of their favourite plants, examples of which appear in the Piet Oudolf garden in the picture above.

Kevin also brought along plants from Hillier Nurseries for us to buy and be inspired!
We enjoyed Kevin’s talk and his wealth of experience which he was happy to share.
